One individual truly close to our hearts is Beth Moore.

The dictionary defines a teacher as “one whose occupation it is to instruct”.

Beth Moore does just that. She is vivid and powerful, calling the hearts that hear her stories and guidance to instruct them on how to hear God’s voice. With humor and a realistic approach to life’s actualities, Beth digs deep into the soul and places the seed of action. She builds faith through her teachings by incubating new seedlings of Christ, giving them the spiritual nourishment to sustain the bumps in the road, and fortifies those strong in His presence, expanding their roots in His Word.

In the course of fewer than 10 minutes, she will have you rolling with laughter then a mess of tears. One of our favorite stories she relates about how God has worked in her life (which you may have heard if you are familiar with Beth) is the hairbrush story. It’s worth the 8 minutes of your day to hear her speak about how an unlikely airport encounter impacted multiple lives, including her own.

Wondering how you can jump into scripture with Beth?

First, as we mentioned before, Beth is an amazing teacher and two of our favorite studies, Entrusted and The Quest, were written by her. If you are seeking an in-depth, intense dive into the Word, these are great picks.  We asked local Bible study leader Ki-Mi what she thought about Beth Moore and she told us:

One of the reasons why I love Beth Moore is the way she knows how to speak to a woman’s heart.  She gets us.  Her love and devotion to women’s ministry all for the glory of God motivates me to get to know our Lord in a more intimate way.
