God could not be everywhere, and that is why He made mothers. | Rudyard Kipling

As Mother’s Day approaches, we are reflecting on all of the #unconditionallove our mothers show us which gives us just a glimpse at Jesus’ love for us. We are so grateful for all of the strong women who continue to inspire and love us well. Here are a few prayers for the mothers who are guiding, growing, and loving:

Lord, I’m tired and weary, and I feel alone. Grant me discernment and guidance. Will You help me be real, and send others into my life who can walk through this with me? I need this now more than ever. I know Your grace is sufficient, Lord. I believe this. You are my Redeemer and I trust in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

(Proverbs 31)

Dear Lord, I’m asking for Your strength to fill me and my weak places today. Facing these difficult moments is sometimes crippling, but I know I can overcome all things through Your power within me. Help me see this hard time as an opportunity to grow closer to You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

(Proverbs 31)

Dear Lord, help me be the mom You’ve called me to be today. I want to honor You in everything I do. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

(Proverbs 31)

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me the privilege of being a mom. I pray that you will help me be a beacon that shines the light of Christ to my children as well as the children that I come in contact with through the course of a day. You are the Light of the World and I pray that I will be a shining reflection of that light today.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen.

(Girlfriends In God)

Dear Lord, sometimes I get really tired and frustrated as a mom. When I grow discouraged, will You help me to keep the goal before me … to raise a child who is a man or woman after God’s own heart? Help me to remember that You, as my Heavenly Parent, never give up on me. Even when You don’t see the results that You desire, You continue to love, nurture and teach me. Thank You for being my example of persistent and consistent love.
