God is With Us! The Christmas Prayer Collection.
How often do you struggle with what to say in your prayers? Many of us have this problem from time to time, especially at the holidays. It could be not knowing what to say at the Christmas dinner table, or praying with a family member through their divorce, or working through the challenges of a blended family.
The Holidays can be stressful in many ways – with grieving hearts, family struggles, or health issues for someone you love (or perhaps even yourself). This Christmas is even more difficult given the need to stay isolated and socially distant. Yet it’s important to take this time, a season typically devoted to family gatherings and spending time with loved ones, to support and pray for each other.
Choosing the right words to share with a family member or friend in prayer can be daunting. So much so that some of us choose to remain quiet rather than struggle with finding those perfect words to pray out loud.
In this week’s email we’ve curated a collection of prayers that may help in some of those challenging moments when you want to comfort someone or say an intimate prayer for yourself. Or you may be simply searching for a wonderful dinner prayer, giving thanks. We cover many topics this week (click on each to read the full articles):
Not only is God with us but He hears all of our prayers when we come to him and ask Him (Matthew 7:7).
Always remember, there is no perfect prayer, only a perfect God. Ask HIM to fill you with Holy Spirit filled words at your table or as you comfort someone you care about and see the spirit open their hearts with hope and peace
Merry Christmas to all of our All Things Faithful family. May your Christmas be filled with love and gratitude for what Christ has given to us!
