God is supreme
We believe God is the Supreme Almighty, the maker of Heaven and Earth and all things above and below. We believe He willed into existence the very fabric of all that surrounds us and longs for a deep, abiding relationship with His creation. We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
Jesus is the centerpiece of our lives
We believe Jesus Christ, God made flesh in human form, is at the center of everything. He is the beginning and end and all that happens in between. We believe only through Jesus can we be reconciled with God. His sinless and exemplary life, his dying on the cross in our place, and his rising again proves his victory and empowers us for life. We believe Jesus is returning to being the full Glory of God’s Kingdom to His church just as he promised.
the Bible is the inspired word of God
We believe Holy Scripture is the inspired and living Word of God. We believe it us accurate, authoritative, and applicable every day to guide our lives.
sin separates us from God and each other
We believe sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. We also believe sin creates chasms in our lives from those around us. Even though we might not know what our purpose is, we believe God desires us to find our way back to Him and each through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
repentance makes reconciliation possible
We believe that to receive forgiveness and reconcile with the living God, we must repent of our sins, confess our belief in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, and commit to His will for our lives. Through this, Salvation is made possible.
the unified church is God’s body on earth
We believe the Church was formed by God to act as His instrument on Earth through the Unity of the Spirit. We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together as a family.
