Caroline Saunders – Using Her Words to Help People Know and Enjoy God and His Word

When the beauty and delight of the gospel grab hold of us, it prompts us to dive seriously into our faith, yet it frees us from taking ourselves too seriously. Caroline Saunders makes it a point to take Jesus seriously and not much else! She tries to offer words that will help her readers do the same.

Caroline loves to write, and her goal is always to use her words to help people know and enjoy God and His Word. So far, she’s published two Bible studies for teen girls, two picture books for kids ages 4-8, and a Bible retelling for elementary readers. For more about her books, head here.

Story & Soul is a ministry Caroline started with her best friends in 2016 that serves women and churches in the Memphis, TN area through content and experiences based on scripture, stillness, and sisterhood. The ministry’s main offering is a weekend retreat that has become such a refreshing yearly rhythm! Every year, Caroline retells the Big Story of the Bible from a unique angle, like “The Story of the Name” or “The Story of Home,” and she invites a favorite Bible teacher to “zoom in” on the concept.

Caroline is always creating things to support her my personal spiritual growth and the growth of those in her in-person ministry, so she started an online shop as a way to offer those things to her friends and customers! Everything you see there is something that is regularly used and enjoyed in her life, ministry, or home. 

Caroline lives with her husband Luke and their three funny kids in north Mississippi, where Luke pastors a church and the kids run wild in the lobby.
